Struggle

Conflict has been a beast of burden since the rise of the first sunset. Well, thats what our history books have learned to us.

As true a statement that is, the urge to kill is something that doesn’t seem as instinctive as one would think.

From personal past, I’ve been raised on the pillars of leadership and combat. Of those two lessons, only leadership sticks to my shell of a self.

Passive is a virtue. Violence only goes far enough to breed more discontent. Granted, swift action and deliberate force has its position in life; but what creates a more successful position? A throne forged from the ribcages of those that were enslaved or a King who had won the hearts and not the peoples fear receptors. Who will have the more loyal followers? Those who fear the whip? Or those who fear the removal of their loved leader?

I’ve learned the more genuine soul wins the most metaphorical gold.

Further More on the Issue of Struggle

Would it be unreasonable to say that our society teaches the “value” of violence? Seen on tv screens and motion picture venues, one would come to believe it was just as natural as you or me.

But take a step back and look what else you believe in this trap. Are genetically modified cans of fruit just as natural as a growing trees root?

So couldn’t one argue that just as you are lead to believe chemicals are more nourishing than the leaves of gods green trees, would it be so hard to believe that violence is as much a condition as behavior and submission?

The thirst for blood, gore, death and destruction is no more a social construct than the facade of love, portrayed in television and movies, no more a fake design then the quick and unrelenting pace passed off as a healthy life within the working class strife. They are only roles played out because its how you expected to behave. A false expectation turning into a failed reality.
